YOUTH GROUP
The youth group at Burbank First is open to everyone, with lessons on Sunday mornings and a monthly Game Night! By creating a family dynamic, we focus on the love of Jesus Christ. We accept all of God's children! Join us for some fun and fellowship!
We are an active group that come together to discuss school, life, God, and much more. Alongside our weekly meetings, we also do an ample amount of mission work. From our yearly trips with the Sierra Service Project, to We Care bags, to our Pancake Dinner, we are always looking for ways to serve.

Register today! Registration is open through September 6.
All 6th-12th graders are welcome to join our new Confirmation program. Confirmation is an important opportunity for 6th-12th graders to grow in their faith by exploring what it means to be a member of a United Methodist Church, but most of all what it means to be a disciple of Christ. This program will give students the chance to make their own informed decision on confirming their faith. Confirmands, all youth, and their families are invited to the Kickoff and Confirmation Sunday.
We are partnering with Glendale First UMC for our Confirmation program! This will be a great opportunity for us to build relationships with other folks in our UMC denomination.
Sunday Mornings
THIS WEEK: It’s SSP Sunday! First, meet us in the Youth Room. We’ll gather for announcements, snacks, and prepare for the SSP stories to be shared. Then, we’ll head down to the Sanctuary for some of our SSP team to share stories of impact during worship. The Youth Group will also be accepting donations for future service projects.

During worship, some of our SSP team will share stories from SSP 2026! The Youth Group will also be accepting donations to help prepare for future mission trips.
That evening, from 5-6:30pm, we will have our Confirmation Kickoff in Trever Hall. We’ll have pizza, snacks, beverages, and worship together to begin the Confirmation journey. Anyone is welcome to join!
September 18-20: Family Camp at Camp Wrightwood
Enjoy delicious food, arts & crafts, fun games, and activities like archery, volleyball, and hiking. All cabins and lodges include their own restrooms,
hot showers, and bunk beds with foam mattresses.

Youth Ministry is better together. We all have various gifts to share! There are many roles you can choose to sign up for such as (but not limited to): Facilitator, Hospitality, Game Leader, Friend, and Special Event Volunteer.
